Almaz Mirzayeva is the winner of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and will start studying for her international master degree – MARIHE in three different European countries in August 2021. She graduated from BEU (former Qafqaz University) with an Honours degree and became “The Top Graduate of The Country” with the highest GPA. Almaz has also been awarded the “Future Teacher Scholarship “(2014-2018), Governmental “Excellence” scholarship, and “GOLD Medal” for completing the general education with special achievements. In 2018, she attended International Summer School in Germany as a DAAD scholar. Almaz has been currently working as IB Secondary Teacher at TISA. She has also worked as a Trainer and MOOC Leader at American Councils for International Education, and as a part of the Education and International Exams departments at British Council. She has also been the Assistant Director of the STEAM Camp held by the Baku American Centre. Almaz is a YEA since 2019 and a Board Member of YEAs in Azerbaijan since February 2020.
