Afonso Morango is in the final year of his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the University of Porto and is already dreaming of a Master’s in International Economics and European Studies. His Erasmus+ experience at Maastricht University where he completed a minor in European Studies has further strengthened his long time passion for the European integration project, its history, the EU´s functioning and its legal framework. His passion for writing led him to be a columnist and a guest writer for Portuguese newspapers, and he is currently an intern at the Institute for Cultural Relations Policy in Budapest. He strongly believes that the European Union is truly unique in the world and that we must all work through innovation to keep Schuman and Monet’s dream alive and worthy for all.
