On 23 June, 4 Ukrainian Young European Ambassadors conducted an offline interactive event for children who were forced to leave their homes due to the war in Ukraine and moved to live in the ‘modular towns’ in Lviv city. The event consisted of a few parts, namely: a presentation of the video ‘EU: history and features’; a team game ‘Countries of the EU’; a presentation on the EU’s member states and EU’s borders; an interactive Kahoot quiz. The activity aimed not only to raise awareness of young Ukrainians about the EU and its cooperation with Ukraine, but to help them to integrate in the new environment more easy and find new friends.
As a result of the event, 25+ young people between 7-16 years old from Modular town learned more about the EU.
