The event gathered in Brussels people involved at different levels in promoting the ECI, aiming at reflecting on what the ECI has been for the past 10 years of its life and what it could be in the future. Cooperation and sharing between participants was fostered by engaging activities. The result was an incredibly wide range of new ideas and propositions on how to improve the ECI and its visibility. Young European Ambassadors shared their experience in communicating and promoting, proposing a model that could be used to shape the role of the “ECI ambassador”.
As a result of the event, YEAs managed to learn insights on the role and functioning of EU institutions, confrontation with a variety of people in terms of age (not the usual youth target) and field of occupation (communication experts, governments officials, project developers), brainstormed ideas on how to foster participation and interactions at events, and developed new ideas on communication strategies.
