YEAs in Georgia: Youth Forum on Democracy

On 27 May, YEAs were invited to take part in conference “Youth Forum on Democracy” organised by Georgian Institute of Politics (GIP). During the first half of the conference, YEAs worked in groups with other participants to identify challenges the youth in Georgia faces today.

Coordinator of Young European Ambassadors in Georgia, Nino Turiashvili was invited as a speaker for the panel discussion where she talked about the EU’s support to the young Georgian to become active citizens and presented the YEAs initiative.

As a result of this event, 100 participants, including experts on youth, representatives of civil society organisations and young people learned about the YEAs initiative, and also YEAs networked with their peers and discussed possible cooperation with youth organisations.
