Reuse for a better future

On 5 February, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from the Republic of Moldova organised a workshop on eco-friendly lifestyles for 6th grade students at the ‘George Coșbuc’ lyceum, Bălți city. During the event, around 35 participants had the chance to craft different objects that can be used on a daily basis and would therefore promote an eco-friendly lifestyle.

The activity was based on the concept of reusing with an aim to reduce the consumption and waste thrown into the environment.

The schoolchildren crafted eco-bags from t-shirts, eco-bags from jute thread, to-go cups from jars and pen holders from cans. The YEAs provided their support and assistance during the entire process to ensure the activity was safe and entertaining.
