On 31 January, in the frames of the Euroclub in Vayk, in cooperation with TNAC youth centre, YEAs concluded the one-month training on podcasting for local youth. Participants of the training will work in the following months to create podcasts on issues that matter to young people in their region, as well as EU-funded opportunities available to young Armenians. The objectives were to provide local youth with necessary skills to do their first steps in civic journalism, to contribute to the development of local (non-traditional) media through young people, to promote civic engagement among young people. As a result of the activity, 35 youngsters involved in civic engagement activities and contributed to the production of podcasts on local issues.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
