European Parliament Simulation


On 29-30 October 2021, the YEAs in Ukraine carried out a second online ‘European Parliament Simulation’ event. The event started with the opening ceremony and welcoming remarks from Mrs Victoria Davydova, Press and Information Advisor of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. At the first day, the participant attended the lectures on the EU-Ukraine relations, the EU institution, and the opportunities that the EU creates for Ukrainian youth. At the second day, they had a chance to try themselves in the role of the Members of the European Parliament. They were divided into 6 groups/committees each working on some topic of relevance to the EU. At the end of the simulation, they presented the results of their work, and voting procedure took place. In addition, they participate in some interactive activities, like Kahoot quiz and Mirro boards game.
