Dialogue Initiative: EU-Georgia 1st Meeting


The first meeting of the EU-Georgia Dialogue Initiative aimed to: introduce the objectives of the Dialogue Cycle to all participants; give an overview of the project and the topics; give an overview of EU-Georgia relations and treaties; favor the creation of a network between EU and Georgian Ambassador.
The event took place on the first weekend of February, on the 6th at 2PM CET.
In total, 26 YEAs from both the EU and Georgia took part in the meeting.
YEAs from Georgia prepared two presentation, focused on the Treaties in force between Georgia and the European Union and the future perspectives of the cooperation.
They also included the work of Young European Ambassadors in Georgia and their role in the promotion of opportunities for young people in their country.
After the presentations, YEAs were randomly divided in breakout rooms to get to know each other and introduce themselves.
The overall atmosphere was joyful, and participants showed desire to meet again for more activities.
