Be Careful It’s SEXISM

On 17 March, in partnership with the NGO ‘Council of Women’s Initiatives’, Ukrainian YEAs organized an online training aimed to provide the participants with basic knowledge about sexism, how to identify it in everyday life, and how to combat it. The event was delivered mainly for students, however, school pupils and young professionals also took part in the activity. The topic was of high interest not only for women but also for men. The presentation by the invited trainer and gender expert Olga Nemanezhyna was followed by an active discussion and experience-sharing session. As a result, the event lasted for more than two hours, and the most active participants (3 women and 2 men) received prizes from the YEAs initiative.

The Facebook reach of the event is 14 406 people. 227 people registered for participation in the event, and 112 took part.
