As part of the project, grant support and training for local CSOs (civil society organisations) are planned to strengthen their capacity. Furthermore, the project provides support for NGOs, media, and researchers to enhance their engagement in Ukraine\u2019s EU accession process.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project\u2019s geography spans both the national and regional levels, including a specific focus on frontline and rural communities. The total budget of the project is \u20ac1.5 million.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cThis project is part of the EU\u2019s \u20ac200 million+ commitment from the European Union to CSOs in Ukraine since 2022. It reflects our shared belief that civil society is not just a beneficiary of support, but a partner in building a resilient Ukraine under difficult conditions of war and \u2013 at the same time \u2013 a country that is free, fair, and aligned with EU values and standards,\u201d<\/em> said Asier Santill\u00e1n Luzuriaga, Head of the European Integration, Governance and Rule of Law, Civil Society Section, EU Delegation to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project includes four grant programmes. The first call, with a grant amount of \u20ac18,000, was <a href=\"https:\/\/euneighbourseast.eu\/opportunities\/resilience-through-partnership-eu-funded-grant-call-for-ukrainian-civil-society-on-the-path-to-eu\/\">announced<\/a> on 24 April.
