Nushaba is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management at Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universiteti (Azerbaijan State University of Economics). She considers herself to be a multitasker who enjoys taking on new challenges. Presently, she works as a Project and Event Manager and is eager to continue her career on this path. Nushaba is a highly motivated individual who is dedicated to striving for a prosperous future. She organises and coordinates projects on gender equality, well-being, animal welfare, and women’s education, taking responsibility for raising public awareness of current, inevitable issues and challenges.

Nuran is a secondary school student, amateur linguist, scriptwriter, professional pianist, and painter. In 2019, she participated in “The Voice of Kids”, “Sevil International Women Film Festival”, and “Think Global Do Local”. In addition, she has also taken part in many volunteer programmes, one of which is the currently ongoing 2nd Level Master in the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan.

Nijat studies Law at Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (Baku State University), SABAH groups. He is a presidential academic scholar, and he is currently engaged in the Philip C. Jessup lnternational Moot Court competition. He also works for a law firm as a young professional, and his main interests are hiking, blog writing and storytelling. Nijat is looking forward to being a part of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative and the opportunities it will bring.

Nihad is studying Economics at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University). He has always been interested in affairs of the European Union, even before he enrolled at university, and has participated in the European School Summer Camp in 2021. Nihad has also taken part in several Erasmus + Youth Exchanges and has finished a group volunteering project (European Solidarity Corps) in Romania this Summer. Nihad is currently working on a publication regarding Azerbaijan in a very well-known publishing press.

Nigar is a young professional in media production, who has recently graduated from Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti (Azerbaijan University of Languages). She successfully completed several courses organised in Asia, including the Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) and Global Citizenship Education (GCED). That is where she learned about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), knowledge she later applied to planning numerous projects in her workplace. Nigar believes that by using knowledge and the power of media, she can raise awareness of global issues and contribute to societal development.

Nariman is studying Finance at the Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universiteti (Azerbaijan State University of Economics). Even though he enjoys finance, his main field of interest is Computer Science. During his studies, he has completed several internships, volunteered, and participated in a variety of competitions. One of them was ‘Technofest 2022’ in which he became a finalist. Nariman is currently working at a rehabilitation centre as a graphic designer while pursuing higher education studies.

Nazrin is studying for a Bachelor in Public Affairs at Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (Baku State University). In her free time, she writes articles on geopolitics and world affairs, volunteers with NAYORA, the ‘Regional Development’ Public Union, is a member of ‘AzMUN’, and is a participant in the ‘Young Envoys’ program. She is driven to improve Azerbaijan’s political and diplomatic standing in the international arena. By being Young European Ambassador, she aims to realise numerous projects in Azerbaijan and make improvements in areas such as personal development, mentality, and education amongst many others.

Murad graduated from “ADA”Universiteti (“ADA” University) with a Bachelor of International Relations in 2022. In Spring 2021 he studied at Tallinna Tehnikaülikool (Tallinn University of Technology) through the Erasmus+ programme. He has completed his first academic internship in Switzerland with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN and other international organisations of Geneva, and the second one in the United Nations Office in Azerbaijan. Mirzali is a young professional studying Industrial Engineering at Bakı Mühəndislik Universiteti (Baku Engineering University). He currently works as a project manager at an IT company and is also the coordinator of a youth entrepreneurship programme in Azerbaijan. Mirzali is passionate about becoming an innovation expert in the future and has been involved in various initiatives supported and funded by the European Union since the beginning of his academic career. Mirzali aims to promote European values in his country through the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative, supporting young people.

Mehin is a secondary school student and has participated in many debate programs, including Model United Nations and the ‘European Youth Parliament’ peer­-to-peer educational program. She is an official member of the EYP Azer­baijan and was part of the delegation of Azerbaijan in the 96th International Se­ssion of the EYP – Riga 2022. In addition to this, she is a member of the Interna­tional Relations and Diplomacy Committee established by the National Council of Youth Organisations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Mehdi is interested in politics, economics and diplomacy and is currently studying for a Bachelor in Finance at Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universiteti (Azerbaijan State University of Economics). He considers it a great honour to be a Young European Ambassador and is looking forward to significantly contributing to the development of a network among young people all around Europe, instilling the values of European democracy and maintaining a sense of unity in the civic public. Masud is a Finance graduate of the International School of Economics of the Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universiteti (Azerbaijan State University of Economics). He specialises in Finance & Investment and Business Analytics and is also a graduate of the Business&Management double-degree program at the IAE School of Management at Université de Montpellier (Montpellier University) in France. His hobbies are mainly cinema and intellectual competitions. He is very much looking forward to being a part of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative and the new challenges and opportunities this will bring.

Usevalad is a young civic activist and a student at Europos Humanitarinis Universitetas (European Humanities University) and Vytauto Didžiojo Universitetas (Vytautas Magnus University). He has taken part in a variety of EU initiatives, including the Philoxenia camp (Genk, Belgium) and European Youth Event (Varazdin, Croatia). Usevalad has also volunteered in local communities (in events and conferences organised by his university) and at international level, for example, helping refugees from Polish and Slovak camps. Usevalad hopes to work on his practical soft and hard skills through the Young European Ambassadors initiative.

Darya is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. Majoring in European Politics and Economics, Darya is passionate about her field of study. Darya graduated in 2023 and after almost three years of study, she became a representative of her faculty and also became a recipient of the rector’s scholarship for academic success.

Hayley is currently in her second year of studying European Social and Political Studies at University College London. Her specialism in Hungarian and History has sparked a particular interest in linguistics and the ways this can inform discourse in history and politics. With Hungarian and Australian heritage, Hayley has been fortunate to experience the benefits of the European Union from both inside and outside of its borders. She is passionate about social mobility and providing opportunities to others through her own volunteering efforts.
