Прием заявок: учебная поездка в Украину

The Reanimation Package of Reforms with the assistance of the Centre for Democracy and the Rule of Law and the Prague Civil Society Centre are organizing a week-long study trip to Ukraine for the representatives of five post-Soviet countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan). The study trip will be held on April 23-29, 2017. 

We are inviting activists, opinion-makers, experts and representatives of independent media from Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia to visit Ukraine to learn first-hand how a broad alliance of civil society, MPs and experts are driving reforms inside the country. Participants of the program will meet lead civil society representatives and experts working on development and implementation of Ukraine’s post-Euromaidan reforms, analyse recent progress and discuss the future path of the reform process.

Participants will also be able to develop relationships with fellow democracy activists from different countries and engage in critical reflection, dialogue, experience-sharing and knowledge dissemination, with the aim to stimulate fact-based, collaborative and strategic thinking on solutions for the future of the region.

The costs of the trip, including flights to Kyiv, accommodation and meal allowances will be covered by the organisers.

How to Apply? 

There are a total of 25 spaces available, with five slots reserved for representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

To foster a cross-border and cross-disciplinary atmosphere, the group will be selected to ensure a mixture of professional and national backgrounds. We are particularly interested in applications from civil society activists, policy practitioners, democracy scholars, researchers, business and labour leaders and journalists and online activists.

The seminar will take place in Russian – fluency in Russian is therefore necessary. English language skills would be an advantage but are not a precondition for selection or participation.
