Model European Union Kyiv is a simulation of the European politics the main aim of which is to imitate the work of the legislative and executive institutions of the European Union.  Its debut in Kyiv took place in March 2016 and now is going to grow into an annual tradition. MEU Kyiv is held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. 

The main goal of the event is to connect students from European and non-European countries who are outstandingly eager to learn about the inner functioning of the EU and its procedural particularities.

• Fee: Participation fee is 50 EUR, accommodation fee is 30 EUR

Participation fee includes:

• MEU Kyiv materials
• Coffee breaks
• Meals

• Certificate of participation.

Accommodation will be provided for 5 nights: from March 28th until April 2nd.

Eligibility: In order to participate in the Model European Union Kyiv applicants have to

• be at least 18 y.o.
• be proficient in English
• be motivated.

During the Conference, participants will be simulating the work of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU.

Working language for the MEU Kyiv Conference is British English.

Topics of the discussion are:

Bitcoin regulation and the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
