Oskar’s commitment extends beyond academics, evident in his substantial volunteer work with the European Youth Parliament (EYP) in Sweden and the United Nations Association (UNA) in Stockholm. In his free time, he indulges in reading, continuous learning and socialising with friends and family. Notably, he is actively working towards achieving fluency in a third language. Lika is pursuing her Master’s degree in European Studies in Lund University in Sweden. She successfully completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the Free University in Tbilisi. Lika’s academic journey reflects her profound interest in comprehending international relations and the intricate dynamics of European affairs. Vera is a prospective International Relations student. Her interest in global affairs and diplomacy sparked during the UWC Short Course “Redefining Equality,” where she learned the importance of communication in forging peace. Since then, she has developed a sustainability initiative to raise awareness on climate change within her community and written resolutions presented at COP28. From Model United Nations to Erasmus+ projects, you will find Vera somewhere around the world deepening her passion for intercultural understanding. As a Young European Ambassador, Vera looks forward to uniting and embracing youth voices to advocate for equal opportunities.

Ilhama is a professional lawyer. She has completed her Bachelor degree at Baku State University. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Law at Lund University. Ilhama has been involved in many volunteering opportunities, where she was able to enhance her knowledge, skills and communication on different fields. Now, she has been working with SDG 16 which is aimed to promote peace, justice and strong institutions. She believes that this matter is really important in today’s world and requires more enhanced cooperation. In this regard, Ilhama believes that Young European Ambassadors’ initiative will help her to demonstrate her ideas in a broad environment.

María Rodríguez González

María is currently completing her Master’s degree in International Affairs in Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE, having finished her degree in Translation, Interpreting and Tourism. She enjoys meeting new people and other cultures hence her participation in many intercultural projects. She is interested in politics and international relations, especially in cooperation, security and peace.

Beatriz is a European Studies student at Maastricht University (The Netherlands), where she has learnt about EU External Policy, but is currently enjoying an exchange semester in Bogazici University (Türkiye). Sara Ioana Cotovelea

Sara is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Law, Sciences and Innovation and Health Studies at Université Paris-Saclay. She discovered her love of international relations and politics during high school, thanks to debate and MUN conferences that she was initially reluctant to join. Back in Bucharest, she engaged in numerous volunteering activities in various domains in order to further explore her passions, from film festivals to human rights activism. Her experience in Interact Cișmigiu, a Rotary International-founded club, has rewarded her with great knowledge and understanding of event management, which she hopes will be useful in her work as a Young European Ambassador.

Rebeca-Elena Rotaru

Rebeca is in her final year of Bachelor degree studies at the Faculty of European Studies, Babeş-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca (“Babes-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca), and she has complete an Erasmus+ semester at ULiège, focusing on Technology, Innovation and Digitalisation Policies. She is actively involved in student’s representation and volunteering at local and european level. Rebeca is still searching for her own way to make this world better through small changes, and so she is looking forward to fulfilling her purpose as a Young European Ambassador.

Bianca Elena Tudorache

Currently studying European Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in The Hague, the Netherlands, Bianca aims for a distinguished career as an MEP in the future. Her passion in the political spectrum originated in 2019 after attending conferences and international forums through the European Youth Parliament. Recently, she joined the student group of Amnesty International where she participates in events on highly sensitive Human Rights issues. Bianca views the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative as the perfect environment where she can actively make a difference, and where she can start climbing the career ladder.

Catalina is a young professional, passionate about sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship.
