EU Strategic Communications in Azerbaijan

Project Description
The overall objective is to contribute to the improvement of public perception in Azerbaijan, as well as to a better understanding of European policies and their impact through the regional and bilateral EU support and cooperation programmes in Azerbaijan for all its citizens. The project ensures general communication support to EU including management of social media accounts of EU, communication support to EU-funded projects, photographer/videographer service, organization of outreach events, press visits, media briefings, public campaigns, development of human stories and videos, procurement of promo materials. Moreover, the project is responsible to manage Digitool platform and eu4azerbaijan.eu web-site.
Specific Objective
The specific objectives are as follows:
· Communicate in an accessible manner to the Azerbaijani public about the EU, its values, and its actions in Azerbaijan;
· Raise awareness of the tangible benefits for Azerbaijani citizens that arise from EU financial support and EU-Azerbaijan cooperation.

- Ensure general communication support;
- Organize outreach events;
- Ensure communication support to EU-funded projects;
- Develop 12 Human Stories;
- Develop 5 short videos/motion design;
- Build relations with media;
- Organize 4 public campaigns;
- Ensure procurement of EU branded materials.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
