Improving health care, education and development opportunities for vulnerable mothers and children

Project Description
The aim of the project is to provide support and necessary services for vulnerable mothers and children of Akhemeta and its surroundings through improvement of their health care, education and development opportunities. Project offers psycho-social support and after school programmes to mothers and children with disabilities and to those living in extreme poverty.
Specific Objective
• Improve life of local communities and their indiscriminate engagement in the development process
• Deliver efficient community-based services through contribution to capacity building of grass-root CSOs
• Develop community centres to discuss the urgent needs identified in the region
• Conduct training of community leaders to enhance their problem-solving capacity and exchange of success stories
Expected Results
• Strengthened and diversified capacities of the community based organizations for supporting local community development
• Improved life for communities and decreased risks of the extended vulnerability of next generations.
• Increased education, health and development opportunities for vulnerable women and children.
