Promoting European business and economic interests in Georgia

Project Description
The project aims at encouraging coordinated and pro-active actions of business, support the implementation of the Association Agreement and the DCFTA and, pursue the EU’s economic diplomacy interests.
In particular, objectives are: (1) Strengthening business relations between the European Union and Georgia, in particular as regards the elimination of obstacles to business; (2) Promoting fair, open and long-term relationships between business, customers/beneficiaries and the authorities; (3) Establishing a key interlocutor to the EU Delegation, the EEAS and European Commission, also relaying the views of other existing business organisations, and for Member States’ embassies, notably those with no bilateral chamber of commerce in Georgia.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
