Volunteering activities with children and youth in Poland: open to young people from Ukraine

The Children’s Friends Society (CFS) in Krakow, Poland is looking for young people with open minds, who are creative and patient and are willing to share their passions and are motivated to work with children and youth on a daily basis. The applications are open for young people from a number of EU member states and Ukraine.

The objective of the project is to provide young people from different countries with the opportunity to meet and organise common actions with Polish institutions working in the field of kids and youth education.

Each of the 4 volunteers will work in 2 daily care centres (from Monday to Friday). Volunteer activities may vary depending on the centre, but their common fields will be: organisation of free time for school children and/or youth (eg. sport, games, computer classes, art classes, etc.), learning support, helping in preparing meals, organising activities connected to the volunteer country, supporting the staff in planned activities (specific workshops, projects, special celebrations, going outs in Krakow). Common activities planned: intercultural workshops, inter-center cooperation, short-term stays outside Krakow (winter or summer camps).
