Ukraine: new call for grant proposals to build capacity of analytical centres

The Ukrainian Women’s Fund (UWF) has launched an EU-supported grant competition to build the capacity of think tanks in Ukraine to implement a gender approach in development, analysis and monitoring of policies.

The competition is part of the project on ‘Strengthening the advisory and monitoring role of think tanks in the implementation of the draft EU-UA Association Agreement’.

The grant programme aims to increase the consultative and monitoring role of analytical centres in the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. In particular, it is expected that analytical centres will be able to apply a gender approach in development, analysis and monitoring of policies connected with the AA-related transformations, as well as in implementation of communication campaigns in support of the EU integration.

The call is open for Ukrainian think tanks and civil society organisations that work on policy analysis and policy development, and have experience in preparing analytical papers or studies aimed at the protection of women’s rights and promoting gender equality.

Organisations will be able to receive grant institutional support (core funding) between  €32,000 and €42,000.

The deadline for applications is 20 August.
