Ukraine: Call for proposals for local authorities to rebuild damaged infrastructure

The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine launched a call for proposals for the social infrastructure renovation to be financed under the European Investment Bank (EIB)’s loan ‘Ukraine Recovery Programme’.

The programme aims at constructing or reconstructing schools, kindergartens, hospitals, administrative buildings, social housing, and other key social infrastructures in ten oblasts and the Kyiv region, destroyed by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Local self-government bodies and local executive bodies/executive bodies of local councils of territorial communities are eligible to participate and submit proposals.

In the first call for proposals, a maximum of €200 million will be available to fund selected projects.

The deadline for applications is 2 September.
