Professionals, academics and experts from Eastern Partnership countries are invited to participate in the 2022 European Drugs Winter School (EDWS). They can apply for scholarships offered through the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction’s (EMCDDA) EU4Monitoring Drugs (EU4MD) project for neighbourhood countries.
The online course, running from 14–25 February 2022, will explore the theme ‘Cannabis: practice, policies and debates in the EU and beyond’.
Organised by the EMCDDA and the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), the course will feature live lunchtime lectures with experts and practitioners, followed by afternoon exercises. Virtual fieldwork tours will also be offered. The sessions will be recorded and made available for subsequent viewing. Those wishing to obtain credits will be required to complete exercises and an exam. The course will be conducted in English.
The scholarships will cover the course fees. The deadline for applications is 5 December.
The deadline for paid course applications is 23 January 2022.
