The European Union in Azerbaijan invites all local CSOs to cooperate in the field of promoting and protecting human rights within the project ‘Protecting human rights of vulnerable groups in Azerbaijan’.
The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
The maximum amount for projects focused on human rights advocacy and other related activities (economic and social rights, women’s rights, children’s rights and disability rights) is $37,500. For projects aimed at human rights monitoring and reporting within the UN human rights mechanisms, including the UN human rights treaty bodies and the UPR, the maximum amount is $5,280.
The deadline for applications is 1 June 2022.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
