i-Portunus, apply to the EU’s mobility scheme for artists, cultural professionals or hosts!

Are you an artist, creator or cultural professional looking for international collaborations, to go abroad for your professional development, to find new audiences, to present your work, to co-produce or co-create with others? Are you a well-established artist, or a cultural organisation willing to host artists or cultural professionals, to work together on a common project?

i-Portunus, a new mobility scheme for artists and cultural professionals, supported by the EU’s Creative Europe programme, is a demand-driven mobility scheme that provides financial support and allows direct applications in cultural fields.

For the first time now, i-Portunus Houses offers the opportunity for hosts or hosting organisations to apply with their selection of artists to bring in to work with them.   The funding will go to the individual artists and cultural professionals but via a host or hosting organisation. This new action will allow hosts, who may not have the means to attract international talent, to be part of the mobility scheme.  In view of COVID-19 challenges, blended mobility is also on offer.
