Green Week volunteer team in Eastern Finland: open to Ukrainian participants

Hyvarila Youth Centre in Finland is looking for volunteers who can communicate in everyday English and have an interest in sustainability, nature and outdoor activities.

Volunteers will organise a series of workshops for the local community in Nurmes, Eastern Finland to celebrate EU Green Week. They will also learn how Hyvarila youth centre as a Green Key certified destination reduces the negative impact of tourism.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about sustainable tourism and biodiversity, do upcycling workshops, run a social media environmental campaign, meet local community members and organise activities with them.

Accommodation, food and transportation will be covered by organisers. The opportunity is organised under the European Solidarity Corps and is open to young people from the EU member states and Ukraine.
