Grants to support green energy market in Georgia

The European Union, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Rural Development Agency of Georgia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture invite rural households and businesses to take part in the Green Matching Grants Programme and get access to energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies.

The grants programme will be implemented in Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Dedoplistskaro, Kazbegi, Keda, Khulo, Lagodekhi and Tetritskaro. The funding is intended for those who are ready to switch to simple and industrial solar water and solar air heaters or to carry out partial or full envelope insulation.

The deadline for applications is 31 December 2021.

This initiative is part of the broader EU-funded ENPARD programme to support agriculture and rural development in Georgia. Its total budget is €234.5 million.
