Georgia: call for CSOs and media led by national minorities


People in Need, a non-governmental organisation, whichadvocates for and facilitates locally-led development and promotes human rights, is launching a call for partnership

for media and civil society organisations (CSOs) in Georgia.

The call is part of the EU-funded ‘EU COVID-19 Solidarity Programme for the Eastern Partnership 2020-2022’.

CSOs and media outlets led by a non-dominant ethnic group, registered as Non-entrepreneurial Non-commercial Legal Entity (NNLE) and aspiring to advocate for long-term solutions addressing the challenges of non-dominant ethnic groups revealed by COVID-19, are invited to apply.

Eligible fields for advocacy intervention are health (access to healthcare services, information related to healthcare, etc.), social protection (social services, etc.), education, economic recovery, and human rights (including, but not limited to discrimination, disinformation etc.)

The deadline to submit the application form and documents is 12 September.
