European Youth ‘Orange Magazine’ looking for team leaders – apply by 9 March

The Orange Magazine – the online magazine of the European Youth Press (EYP) – is looking for one or two team leader(s), responsible for the coordination and overall running of the platform. Candidates from the Eastern Partner countries can also apply.

Orange Magazine sustains journalistic partnerships with various media organisations, including Deutsche Welle, DW Akademie, the Asia-Europe Foundation, Open Government Partnership and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The Orange Magazine journalists’ activities include attending international conferences and other events, and covering them by producing high-quality, fact-based journalistic content.

Currently, Orange Magazine is trying to come back after the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore the team leader has to reactivate and recruit Orange Magazine core team members. The core team usually consists of around 15-20 young journalists from all over Europe and beyond.

It is a volunteer position with all Orange Magazine-related expenses being covered.

As one of the team leaders, you would be responsible for setting up these cooperations, recruiting teams to attend events and running the communication and meetings with the core team members. You will also be responsible to work together with EYP project teams, including developing ideas for grant applications together with the EYP Executive Board.

The deadline for applications is 9 March.
