EU4Society: ‘Crowdfunding for media’ competition in Ukraine

The International Renaissance Foundation, within the framework of the EU4USociety project in cooperation with the European Union, has announced the ‘Crowdfunding for Media’ competition in Ukraine.

Through this competition, the Foundation aims to strengthen ties between independent media and their audiences, building established communities around media.

The competition consists of two parts. In the first part, the media organisation will launch a crowdfunding campaign. After successful completion of the campaign, the Foundation will offer funding equal to the amount raised through crowdfunding (but not more than the amount confirmed by the Foundation as pre-financing). The Foundation will co-finance between 50,000 and 200,000 hryvnias for projects under this initiative.

The deadline for applications is 15 May.
