EU4Moldova: EU launches new call for proposals for clusters from Ungheni and Cahul regions

The European Union will provide €400,000 to four organisations in Cahul and Ungheni districts to support cluster initiatives within its ‘EU4Moldova: Focal regions’ Programme. This grant will promote a spirit of cooperation between companies from urban and rural areas, supporting innovative ideas and job creation.

The selected non-commercial entities, registered and active in one of the districts of Cahul or Ungheni, will benefit from financial assistance not exceeding €100,000 per project, with their own contribution of at least 10%.

The financial assistance will be allocated for the procurement of equipment, goods, works and services for the acceleration and development of the existing clusters from urban and rural areas.

The deadline for applications is 17 March.

The ‘EU4Moldova: Focal regions’ Programme (2019-2024) supports intelligent, inclusive, and sustainable social-economic development in the regions of Cahul and Ungheni to ensure better standards of living to the citizens. The programme has a total budget of €23 million, is funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
