In response to the security and humanitarian challenges posed by Russia’s war in Ukraine, the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation (BST) has launched a call for project proposals under a project funded by the European Union.

The call aims to Increase the capacity of civil society organisations, think tanks and media outlets to counter disinformation and develop social, political, and economic policy proposals addressing the challenges triggered by the war in Ukraine.

The BST will support short-term projects (3-4 months), with a total budget between €20,000 and €25,000. Proposals should be implemented by consortia formed by at least two organisations: the lead organisation should be legally registered in one of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, or in an EU country neighbouring Ukraine (Romania, Hungary, Slovakia or Poland), and at least one of the partner civil society organisations (CSOs) or independent media should be legally registered and operate in Ukraine or outside of it.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 1 December.

This call is part of the ‘Strengthening Regional Links and Transition Sharing in the Wider Black Sea Region’ initiative implemented by the Transatlantic Foundation and funded by the European Union.
