CENN in Georgia: opportunity for young people aged 18-30 from Kvemo Kartli and Samtskha-Javakheti 


The Caucasus Environmental Non-governmental Network (CENN), with the support of the European Union, is announcing a competition for young people aged 18-30 from the Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions of Georgia to take part in a six-month civic participation programme.

The aim of the Civic Participation Programme is to help young people to overcome socio-economic problems at the local level. As part of the programme, participants will receive training in different areas such as project writing, campaign planning and implementation, advocacy, resource mobilisation, etc. They will work with mentors and experts and develop projects.

The programme consists of four parts:

  • Civic Education Camp: 8-13 August 2022;
  • Mentoring: September 2022;
  • Project funding and implementation: October 2022 to January 2023;
  • Final workshop: February 2023.

The deadline for applications is 26 June.
