The European Humanities University (EHU), founded in Minsk, Belarus, and operating in exile in Vilnius, Lithuania, since 2006, is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of rector.
EHU has the status of a European Union-based private non-profit university accredited by the Government of Lithuania, and provides students from Belarus and the region with a liberal education in a free and democratic environment.
The candidate should be a professor or equivalent in a relevant academic field, have at least five years of experience in teaching and research at a college or university, preferably in the field of humanities and social sciences, at least five years of management or senior leadership experience with a college or university, experience in working with EU structures and individual governments in Europe and good knowledge of the European university sector.
The term of contract is five years, the remuneration package is up to €8,500 gross.
