On 27-28 November the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan will host the ‘Baku Food Hackathon’, which aims to accelerate innovations in agriculture, increase national consumption of locally-made food products, and find creative ways to bring them to the tables in big cities.
The event is organised jointly with the Young European Ambassadors and EU-funded ‘AgroVision’ project.
The two-day hackathon will bring together representatives of the IT and start-up communities in Baku with local food producers from the regions.
The participating teams will be assisted by national and international experts in the field of agriculture, tourism, and innovation to develop their projects. The winning idea will receive €5,000. Second and third places will receive €3,000 and €1,000 respectively.
The hackathon will be held offline in Baku.
To take part in the hackathon please apply until 21 November.
