These guidelines explain the legal provisions and circumstances upon which the Ministry of Justice of Georgia makes a decision when assessing the issue of transfer of a foreign national sentenced in Georgia to another state to further serve a sentence or of a transfer of a Georgian national or a person domiciled in Georgia who had been sentenced abroad to Georgia.
