EU4Youth: Georgia Labour Market Assessment

The labour market assessment was conducted in 2018 by Save The Children in the scope of the EU4Youth project ‘Better skills for a better future’. The purpose of the study was to assess modern labour market needs and existing non-formal educational services, and analyse how existing skills aligned with market demand in four regions of Georgia: Kakheti, Shida Kartli, Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti and Mtskheta-Mtianeti). To this end, the study touches upon the following points: current and future trends of the labour market; existing support mechanisms for youth entrepreneurship; scope of non-formal educational programmes; and challenges in the local labour market for young people.
