4th Eastern Partnership Youth Forum: Critical thinking through media literacy and active participation


The report of the 2019 Eastern Partnership Youth Forum, setting out the core conclusions and deliverables of the forum and presenting the workshops that were conducted during the event, with detailed explanation of the issues, discussions, topics and conclusions, as well as core outcomes and recommendations.

The event gathered 250 participants in Vilnius in June 2019, and focused around the theme of “Critical thinking through media literacy and active participation”. This main theme was broken down into four topics:

  • Young people as active and responsible citizens;
  • Young people as critical thinkers and policy makers;
  • Young people as media literate and digital youth workers and influencers;
  • Engaging disadvantaged young people in EU programmes (EU4Youth, Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps).
