‘We Count on You, Your Experience, Your Leadership, Your Talent’ – Charles Michel meets Young European Ambassadors in Georgia

Young European Ambassadors in Georgia had an opportunity to meet the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during his visit to Georgia on 1 March.

A group of 18 YEAs thanked the President for the EU’s support to Georgia and briefly presented the Young European Ambassadors initiative and its activities in Georgia. They also asked Charles Michel for advice on how YEAs, as young leaders, could contribute to the development of the country.

Charles Michel encouraged the YEAs to continue their active involvement to shape a better future for Georgia and to strengthen EU-Georgia relations. “We count on you, your experience, your leadership, your talent,” said the President.

The YEAs offered to the President a #strongertogether face mask and a pen from Kvareli EuroClub with the wish “to use it to sign Georgia’s accession to the European Union”.

During the meeting, Young European Ambassadors also expressed their gratitude to the EU Ambassador to Georgia, H.E. Karl Hartzell, for the EU Delegation’s constant support of the YEAs’ initiative.
