Ursula von der Leyen: time has come to agree a new EU-NATO Joint Declaration 


On 26 September, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General.

Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter that they discussed “Russia’s war of aggression and stepping up support for Ukraine”.

She also said that NATO-EU cooperation contributes to security and stability and added that “the time has come to agree a new Joint Declaration to take our partnership forward”.
