Ukrainian Diia.Business platform wins European Enterprise Promotion Award

On 29 November, the European Commission announced the winners of the 2022 European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA). The initiative recognises and rewards outstanding initiatives that support entrepreneurship at national, regional and local level.

The prize in the category ‘Support to Internationalisation of Business’ went to the project from Ukraine ‘Diia. Business’ from the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, set up at the initiative of the Ukrainian government.

Diia.Business is a large-scale project for the development of entrepreneurship and exports. The main objective of the project is to improve entrepreneurial skills in doing business both in Ukraine and in foreign markets through educational programmes and webinars. The project has also created a hotline to help Ukrainian forced migrants in neighbouring EU countries to find a job, start a business or temporarily relocate their business.

The Grand Jury Prize of the European Enterprise Promotion Awards, which recognises the most creative and inspiring initiative promoting entrepreneurship, went to the project ‘Love to be Free’ by UNIZO, from Belgium.
