Ukraine: two vocational schools from Vinnytsia join EU4Skills

Vinnytsia Interregional Higher Vocational School and Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School of Services will modernise their infrastructure as part of the ‘EU4Skills: Modernisation of Vocational Education and Training Infrastructure in Ukraine’ project.

The project is part of the large-scale EU programme ‘EU4Skills: Better Skills for Modern Ukraine’, funded by the European Union and implemented by the German State Development Bank KfW.

“We believe that the introduction of new technologies and the purchase of equipment … will undoubtedly contribute to meeting the needs of the labour market through training of the qualified personnel,” said Frederik Coene, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

The Vinnytsia Interregional Higher Vocational School plans to carry out repair works and purchase equipment worth €1.15 million. The institution will update training laboratories for two courses: ‘Information processing and software operator’ and ‘Electromechanician for repair and maintenance of computers’.

The Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School of Services plans to repair and purchase equipment worth €1.05 million to renovate training laboratories used for courses of ‘Chef-confectioner’, ‘Hospitality Manager’ and ‘Information processing and software operator’.
