Train the trainers to support vaccination programme in Azerbaijan

The World Health Organization in Azerbaijan has launched a Training of Trainers Programme for a group of 50 healthcare workers, as part of the COVID-19 vaccination support project funded by the European Union.

The trainers will be equipped with up-to-date information on COVID-19 vaccines and practical skills on vaccination, as well as skills on communicating with people about the safety and importance of vaccination.

They will then share their newly acquired knowledge with their peers in 14 training centres across Azerbaijan thereby cascading the programme into more than 2,500 trained healthcare workers by the end of 2021.
