On 16 November, the Republic of Moldova received laboratory equipment capable of identifying COVID-19 mutations.

The world’s most effective sequencer, worth over €400,000, has been provided with the financial support of the European Union, within the Team Europe approach, and with the technical assistance of the World Health Organization.

With this new equipment, specialists will be able to monitor the transmission of the virus, the emergence of new forms and identify risk groups.
