The EU and Poland continue to provide medical assistance to the Republic of Moldova.
On 6 August, the Republic of Poland handed over a shipment of medical equipment to the Mother and Child Institute in Chisinau.
The assistance was provided through the European Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism. This vital equipment will help the Moldovan healthcare system meet people’s needs, including Ukrainian refugees.
The total value of the donations given by Polish Aid was €420,000. The delivered goods include 30 infusion pumps, 50 syringe pumps, 2 ultrasound machines, 5 electrocardiographs, 2 ventilators, 10 pulsometers, 5 medical beds, 4 operating tables, and 5 defibrillators.
