House of Europe in Ukraine opens temporary ‘embassy’ in Dnipro to highlight EU opportunities

From 26 March to 16 May 2021, the EU-funded House of Europe will host events at the Centre for Contemporary Culture in Dnipro, introducing residents of the city and its region to EU opportunities and programmes for culture and creative industries, education, social entrepreneurship, healthcare, media, and youth work.

The core of the Pop-up Hub are the information weeks. Every Wednesday and Saturday, managers of the House of Europe and other EU programmes will present different opportunities such as grants, training programmes, or camps.

The Pop-up Hub will culminate on 15–16 May, with the House of Europe Festival on creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. The two-day event will combine ted-talks, case studies, and lectures by experts from the EU and Ukraine, concerts and open-air film screenings.

The admission to the event is free, with mandatory pre-registration due to quarantine measures. Some events will be broadcast online.

House of Europe is an EU-funded programme fostering professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and their colleagues in EU countries. The programme focuses on different professional fields: culture and creative industries, education, health, social entrepreneurship, media, and youth.
