EU4Youth Event: join live discussions and Awards ceremony

To celebrate the first Eastern Partnership (EaP) EU4Youth Days, the European Commission is hosting the EU4Youth Event on 24 March, inviting all those interested in youth policy and EU support to youth in the EaP region to take part in the discussions. The online event will bring together young leaders, national and European policy makers, and civil society representatives to debate the post-2020 EaP agenda with regard to youth employment, entrepreneurship and participation in policy making.

The event will also feature the EU4Youth Awards ceremony, which will honour EU4Youth projects for their achievements in supporting young people in the region, as well as 15 outstanding EU4Youth programme graduates, who stepped out of their comfort zones and built new lives for themselves and others. Following a combination of public and jury voting, five of these graduates will receive a special EU4Youth Social Impact prize. The five winners will be enrolled in EY SkillUp Your Future, a programme designed to provide them tailored mentorship to further grow their skills. This prize will be offered through EY Ripples, the EY global corporate responsibility programme.

The EU4Youth Event will be held as part of the Eastern Partnership EU4Youth Days, taking place on 22-26 March. This is the first year of the post-2020 Eastern Partnership agenda, including the New Deal for Youth as a key initiative for the next stages of cooperation in the field of youth support. The EaP EU4Youth Days will mark the first opportunity this year to promote the EU4Youth programme’s achievements, and to advance the strategic priorities of the New Deal for Youth.

Full information about the event is available at the EaP EU4Youth days webpage, where you’ll also get the chance to participate in the public vote and share your voice to select the Awards winners and support EU4Youth participants.

Join the Facebook event to follow the event and contribute to the debate LIVE.
