EU4Ukraine: Kalush orchestra to take part in Christmas charity gala in Vienna – buy a ticket or donate

The delegation of the European Union to the international organisations in Vienna is organising the EU4Ukraine Christmas Charity Gala for the 3rd time.

This year, the event takes place on 17-18 December at the ‘Das Muth’ theatre in Vienna. The special guest performer this year is the Ukrainian Eurovision winner Kalush Orchestra. Leyla Taghiyeva, Young European Ambassador from Azerbaijan, will also perform her song ‘8 Billion People’, which this year represented the UN’s global campaign #OurVoiceOurFuture.

All proceeds from ticket sales as well as voluntary donations will be donated to aid programmes to purchase multimedia classroom kits for schools in the Ukrainian town of Irpin in the Kyiv region, as well as laptops much needed for online education for children from the most vulnerable families.

The charity ticket sale is organised in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine to Austria, and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organisations in Vienna.

Tickets can be bought on the website of Das Muth Theatre in Vienna.

Donations can be made to the bank account of Botschaft der Ukraine in der Republik Österreich:
