EU4ResilientRegions: support for social workers in Ukraine

The EU4ResilientRegions programme in Ukraine has launched a partnership with Caritas to offer comprehensive training to social workers and managers of social institutions, especially in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Caritas Ukraine will conduct trainings for 1,200 social workers and 300 managers of social institutions in up to 84 communities in 10 regions. With the knowledge and skills from the trainings, social workers will be able to provide clients, especially vulnerable groups, with better social services and care.

The first online sessions will  begin mid-December 2021 and continue until early 2023.  Topics range from the standards of palliative and home care and observation, to overcoming the ‘professional burnout’ syndrome.
