EU trains in Ukraine more than 150 police officers in combating domestic violence 


On 25-27 May, experts from the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine (EUAM) and the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) carried out the last in a series of ten training sessions on preventing and combating domestic violence for the Patrol Police Department of the NPU in Lviv.

The training covered international standards, best practices, examples from EU countries, theory of domestic violence, as well as practical skills in putting together the materials for cases of domestic violence.

The participants from all regions of Ukraine also went through practice scenarios in the interactive training rooms of regional police centres which were equipped by EUAM.
