EU in Moldova holds Civil Society Gala Award 2022


On 22 June, the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova held the Civil Society Gala Award 2022. 

Several civil society organisations received awards for outstanding results that have contributed to the strengthening of democracy, economic and social development.

The list of winners this year is as follows: 

  • Stronger Governance Award – European Local Democracy Association (ALDA)
  • Stronger Society Award – AudiViz Community Association 
  • Stronger Economy Award – East European Foundation
  • Stronger Connections Award – Social Innovation Foundation in Moldova Community Association

In addition, four special prizes were awarded: 

  • Confidence Building Award – Homecare Public Association
  • Advancing Change Award – ANIMA Public Association
  • Advancing Gender Equality Award – Partnership for Development Centre 
  • Responding to Social Crisis Award – Diakonia Social Mission

The gala awards ceremony is being held for the third time.
